Located near the town of Elkford the Dry Creek Water Management system was designed to improve the natural water quality near Teck’s coal mining activity.

The project included water diversion structures including earthworks, concrete installation, piping and high-density polyethylene (HDPE) liners to permanently divert Dry Creek for the treatment of selenium. It is an integral component of Teck’s Line Creek Phase II Expansion Project.
